First of the season

Normally I'd be a purist; no mince pies until Hallowe'en is out of the way. But the way this year is shaping up I'll take a little joy wherever I can get it and I do love a mince pie. I'm having a totally lazy day with some trashy TV in the background while I read. I've just put something in the oven - it's marinated pork belly on a bed of sliced potatoes and onions - and when it's done I'll try a glass of wine. I hope that your Sunday is working out as well as mine :-)
