Out early this morning to the far side of Crummock Water, nr Buttermere.  Lots and lots of people heading for Buttermere, so glad I kept away.  Had a lovely walk by Crummock  and spotted a paddle boarder with a dog.  Looked like hard work as not a lot of room with a dog on board.  The guy was on his knees and the dog fell in the water so interesting watching him get the dog back on the board.... in extras.  Walked through some woods to the National Trust car park in Buttermere which was full and back to the car via a lovely footpath with some great views.   Will have to go back later this week as the colours are looking really good.
