Church, For Real

So special to be able to be actually physically present at our church's livestream, led by Deb and Donald, our minister, duly masked and distanced, of course. Sitting on the front row (as always), could only get Deb in the photo, shame. Paul prayed at the start and I prayed at the end, which was good. The theme was "Goodness of God" (sung here by a 70yr old Graham Kendrick, a name from my youth), the song chosen by Julia and Tom for Gracie's funeral; Gaynor and Andy sang it tonight. Beautifully.

Visited my special needs brother, Bryn, at his home, with Paul. He's doing well, considering he's been in permanent lockdown since the beginning (extra). Of course, all we could do was stand on the drive and chat - mainly about football, as usual, though he was sad about Julia's baby.

Gratefuls:
- croissants for Sunday breakfast, and one grapefruit shared between us (augmented by other fruit)
- reading to the kids in bed this morning
- seeing beloved people in real life
