Walk in Silvermines

On our way to the Clare Glens for a walk with the Labs, Susan and I saw a sign to a loop walk in Ballyhourigan Woods. We diverted to there where we met a couple who gave us directions for a suitable walk. It was a lovely sunny Sunday, so we had a pleasant and gentle 2.63 km walk. The journey home was a meander through the Silvermines mountains on roads that required long reverses when two cars met.  It was good to get back onto roads without grass in the centre.
