Hidden stash of Honey Fungus

Today I took a walk on my own in the afternoon, to make the most of the dry weather.

I took a walk along the footpath from Wantage to Letcombe, and had an explore in the woodlands that line the footpath.  The recent rains, the damp terrain, where the spring emerge below the Ridgeway, and the old tree stumps are an ideal environment for the Honey Fungus.
