My World Through A Lens

Rare visitor!

An interesting walk at Keyhaven. Met some lovely fellow photographers. Good to see some friendly faces. As for the cows!! They weren't as friendly. One knocked a lady to the ground then continued to be very defensive to people. It did have youngones. We saw the rare visitor.... He/she was not scared of humans at all. But then where they come from they have very little human contact... Heres a little video as it came very close.

*Wilson's Phalarope breed in the Prairies of the USA & Canada, then over winter in salt lakes in the Andes. Occasionally, when there are strong north easterly winds they get blown across the Atlantic and appear in Europe, so it is very rare to see one at Lymington-Keyhaven.

Thanks for another interesting adventure.

Lots of back blips. Please feel free to have a scroll. X
