The morning after the night before!

When I woke this morning I could hear the wind and rain and cars driving through surface water .... not a good sign!

Yesterday my acer was still covered with lovely red leaves .... still a few left but most are now lying on the earth and the grass. Clearing them up will be a job for magic hands but only when they've had a chance to dry out a bit.

Did some much needed housework this morning ... the fine weather last week put things like floor washing, hoovering and dusting on the back burner .... until today that is. Hoping things are a bit better tomorrow.
