A Pale Sky and the Combe de l’Â ....

..... in the Valais, a wild reserve for Alpine creatures but today they had mainly gone on holiday somewhere else! We saw only four chamois, high up on a ridge. The autumn colours are taking hold now, golden glow in the larch trees and the high alpine grass.

Thanks for the wonderful comments etc., for yesterday’s mountains and bouquetin. These long days out, further away than usual, are tiring me out it seems. I seem to be so late uploading and commenting is just not getting done, sorry!
