Low tide

Spent the morning laying paving stones under the rose planters at the front of the house. We had an alarming spurt of growth from the roses this year due to the roots making their way through the drainage holes in the planters. Hopefully a root prune and paving stones should curtail that growth.
This afternoon we made a spur of the moment decision to head over to Snettisham for a bit of sea air. We haven't been there since before the summer (possibly since before the March lockdown, I'll have to check the journal). So glad we did, it was well worth it.
