Start of the Carnethy 5 Hill Race

The weather was perfect for today's Carnethy 5 race. 534 runners started and 529 finished (a record number). Here we are at the start with the final hill, Carnethy in the background. Lots of people have their heads down and it could be that they're praying for a PB, but I think it's more likely that they're setting their watches and waiting for the starting gun ;o) I didn't achieve a PB, but managed to finish almost 9 mins earlier than last year, so I'm very pleased about that :D
