Made it

Set off from Glen Lyon and up the track. we passed some completely black sheep with curly horns. There was some snow on the track. After we passed the trees we set off up the hill. In some places the snow was quite deep and in others there were patches of heather making for tiring walking. Further up it was misty and drizzly. We stopped for lunch just before the summit to get some shelter.

Took this at the top of the Corbett Beinn Dearg where, as you can see, it is misty and the snow must have been blown off. We retraced our steps, but we were sinking deeper into the snow which was melting and becoming wetter. Unfortunately I stepped into a deep hole and my foot was stuck under the snow twisting my knee. I managed to continue walking but it has become painful this evening.
