Walking Tour #4

Today, my husband planned a 5 mile walking tour of Capitol Hill for us which was less historical than our previous tours but had more of an emphasis on architecture.  As always, he hit the ball out of the park.  It was wonderful and once again we saw things that in our more than 40 years here we have never seen before, such as this statue that can be seen HERE

Keeping the theme for Mono Monday somewhere in the back of my head as we walked, I snapped this selfie shot at a church in their empty directory cabinet window, knowing the brick would lend itself well to black and white and yielding a very impressionistic masked selfie.
