Art nouveau seaweed

We headed off into dismal weather this morning to go to Golspie. A good hour+ drive away but somewhere we were unlikely to stop at on our way back down.
The weather was rubbish until we arrived in Golspie and then it brightened up significantly.
We had a walk along the award winning beach where I saw this arrangement of seaweed and thought it looked very ‘art nouveau’. After lunch at Poppies we drove back via Helmsdale, with its museum and Highland clearance statue (see Aragon69).

As we got in the car to journey back to the cottage the weather turned miserable again - so we have had a lucky day!
