A good meeting in the office (spaced out and cognisant of the maximum capacity in the meeting room) on the direction of our marine conservation work in Mozambique. One of the many reasons I’m keen to get back is to continue the work on this as there is so much potential.
At one point after much head scratching and brainstorming on serious matters we found ourselves trying to list the characters from Chicken Licken. We got stuck after Henny Penny, Goosey Loosey and Turkey Lurkey.
After work I went on the train to Ely to have dinner with my ex-colleague Laura. She cooked up a tasty lentil moussaka. The loom of Ely Cathedral in the dark was imposing enough to shake me from my limbo fug.
Back near the house in Cambridge I saw the resident fox for the first time in a few months. As Laura’s married name is Fox it was a funny coincidence.
I papped these lemons at lunchtime, in homage to warmer climes.
