Dinner for Two

Feeling absolutely spoiled to be feasting on my Grandma’s delicious cooking! And even more fortunate to be spending time in the company of a lady who is so loving, faithful and wise.

Been appreciating just how healthy she is for her age, as I’ve met younger, but far frailer patients than her these past few weeks. One man today passed away after a hip fracture - he fell as he tried to catch his wife, as she slipped. I think I’m learning far more from watching humans interact, from how they love sacrificially and painfully, than I am from Trust policies and NICE guidelines. At least it feels like more valuable learning.
