Crosby

I didn't achieve much this morning and couldn't get going so when my friend offered a trip out and a walk this afternoon I decided to go in the hope it would do me some good. 

We went to Crosby. The wind was strong and the sea was a bit wild, which was great. We found it exhilarating. We walked along the front in one direction and dodged the spray from the waves. We returned to the car park and had a lovely hot chocolate. Then we walked in the other direction. By that time the light was fading rapidly but there were patches in the distance where the crepuscular rays were wonderful. 

The one in the extras made me chuckle. I wonder if the starling had paid?
