Wearing purple...

Beautiful autumn colours...

...despite the rain... gold and red and russet...
Met Sue & Dave at the Lambley Viaduct car park this morning, ready to do the second half of our bike ride from Haltwhistle, this time from the viaduct to Slaggy Ford. We decided not to let the rain put us off, and we were rewarded by a lovely ride - though it's difficult trying to keep up with e-bike riders on the hills ;)
The main blip is on the route and of the viaduct, and the extra is at the end of our ride having a last coffee on the viaduct itself!

CORONA CLASSICS -Summerland - William Grant Still
Another one from Dolly to commemorate Black History Month.  William Grant Still Jr.( 1895 –1978) was an American composer of nearly 200 works, including five symphonies, four ballets, nine operas, over thirty choral works, plus art songs, chamber music and works for solo instruments. He was the first African American to conduct a major American symphony orchestra, the first to have a symphony (his 1st Symphony) performed by a leading orchestra, the first to have an opera performed by a major opera company, and the first to have an opera performed on national television.

I’m continuing with the COVID CELLO PROJECT 6 - Schubert “Unfinished” Symphony
