Navigator Genesis

Low tide at Pettycur Bay but the channel is deep enough for large tankers at all states of the tide.  This one, a gas tanker, was on its way back out into the North Sea heading for Rotterdam (Europoort).

The foreground lead-in lines are the remains of old wartime defences to prevent light planes/gliders landing on the sands.  I have previously blipped them here:
and the 'extra' that day as well.

Looking towards Edinburgh.
The background hills from the left are:
Arthur's Seat, Salisbury Crags, Calton Hill.
The buildings are the dockside areas of Leith and Newhaven.
