Really, it’s a gift

I suppose it is a gift to us during this pandemic that we even have the Internet and software so that we can connect with each other.

We can chat with grandchildren, check on grandma, take a school class, join in worship, and today we interviewed a guy for his ordination interview. That’s to see if he fits with who we are and make sure his theology and thinking are not off the beam:)

So the poor guy is nervous enough as we ask him questions to defend his theological paper. And then in the middle of it, his daughter comes in and she needs the scanner to send a test back to her teacher within 20 minutes.

So he kindly leaves to find another space to be interviewed in. It’s no problem for us but the poor guy is nervous.

He found refuge in his sons messy room and sat down in the floor, leaning back against the bed. And there he completed his interview with flying colours.

Yup, this Internet is a gift to us.
