Before they disappeared...

The views... not the kids!

We headed up Ben Lomond today.
Weather report was a mixed bag but we held out for a view at the top!
(I'd been watching it for a few days trying to find the best place to head for)
But alas... all we got at the top was drizzle and clag!!

The views opened up again on the way down.

The last part was a bit of a slog for the boys and their friends, walking in the clag, not being able to see an end to it.... asking everyone that passed us on the way down "How long till the top....??.

The answers they received seemed to prolong the pain for them I think!! :-D

But they perseverd and we all made it for a quick photo at the top and then about turned and headed back down.

All tired and happy for having done it.
