Quelle surprise

I wandered into the kitchen this morning and found the orchid that lives on the window sill, largely ignored, has produced a lovely new flower - and there are two more buds, promising more blooms in future.
Am off to cook for the big grands for a long weekend, whilst Mum and step Dad go off on a short break, which will be fun hopefully.  Let's hope the rain stays away so we can get out and about.
