An enterprising crow at Stokes Bay. We were down there today continuing with the decluttering project at Mr DA's mother's house. We split the remaining stuff into sides of the garage: one side for charity shops, the other for the tip. Then we loaded the car with as much of the former as we could fit in - which amounted to 13 dustbin bags - and headed off to into the town to try and offload some of them. The first charity shop would only take a bag of CDs, the second took two bags in exchange for a GiftAid registration, and then a further one when Mr DA turned on the charm. I could have hugged the woman at the third one we tried, however, who asked how many bags we had and when I said, "about nine", she said, "yes, that's fine"! So, we'll be going back there next week to offload some more bags, hopefully. Meanwhile, we returned and loaded the car again, this time with stuff for the tip, for which we've booked a slot on Sunday.

After all our hard work, we went off for lunch at the bistro on the seafront (I had sea bass, new potatoes and samphire, which was delicious) and then a walk down to the coffee shop at the other end for some much needed caffeine.
