After the Rain

It’s been a beautiful afternoon after a heavy shower about lunchtime so I took the macro out for a walk around the garden again. This was my favourite flower shot...the very ragged rose bush grows beneath some trees and was just catching the sun.

Otherwise a day of chores...last night I hit the pillow and promptly became wide awake! By 3am I gave up and resumed reading Jack Charlton's autobiography for an hour or so...I don’t read many autobiographies and I’ve never been that into football but I’m surprised at how many names I recognise from over the years, it’s quite an interesting read.
