secret garden

A bit of well work this morning while Himself went off to hunt and gather in Bantry. He reported that things looked pretty normal and there was even a market! Later more work in the myrtle grove - here is Himself removing the very soft but very large remains of an alder tree long since deceased. We have thinned and cleared  and now there should be room for the little trees to branch out, and for the bluebells to pop up in the spring. I should have taken a before pic but I forgot.
The hydrangeas still giving a nice variety of colours.
It seems to be a bank holiday. Do clocks do things this weekend too?
