Here and there over the last few weeks I've been discretely putting pennies in odd places around Stu's room. He definitely knows it's happening, and I'm pretty sure he knows it's me. He left for home on Thursday and made a pretty big point of locking his room.

The next step, obviously, was to go to the bank, convert £5 into pennies, and shove them all under his door.
