Nature Diary... Laughing in the Rain!

Early this morning the bird feeders were busy and the rain just hinted at its existence. But as the day wore on the grey skies turned darker and quietly the rain began to fall in heavier bursts until by mid afternoon it was hammering down and streaming in torrents against the windows. I was glad for the little birds who’d had the wisdom to feed well early this morning. Here’s hoping for better weather tomorrow, although I think the Buddha continues to smile come rain or come shine. A lesson we could all learn, perhaps.
