Day 298/20. A (moving) room with a view

A visit to the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth today. A birthday treat of High Tea at 105 metres.
In this view from the top you can see the two new Royal Navy aircraft carriers, Prince of Wales nearest (she has a P on the deck) and Queen Elizabeth behind (she has a Q on the deck).
Also in the shot is HMS Warrior at the bottom, HMS Victory at the 2 o'clock position and the Mary Rose Museum.
Extra picture shows the passenger hovercraft struggling in the high winds. Later in the day the service was suspended due to the weather.
A filthy day today with 50mph+ winds and squalls blowing through. We were lucky in that while we were up there it remained clear. The top of the tower at 105 metres flexes by up to 15cm in high winds, and we could certainly feel it moving today while we were drinking our tea.
High tea was indeed a moving experience.
