Little shoes

More rain.... more sewing!
I made a start on a pair of little shoes for Wendy. I found some lovely suede effect fabric in Boyes, and got some wool felt for warmth.
The two layers have to be bonded with Vilene, which Boyes also had! I do like that shop!
I tried to work carefully as it’s a different sort of pattern but even so I managed to bond one of the pattern pieces to the back of the felt!
After that things went better and I have just finished embroidering the faces. Tomorrow I will have to stitch the soles on... that may be difficult!
