(again- posting this a couple of days after the fact)
last day of shooting in riverpark apartments!!
more insane audio problems..
one mic was picking up a wicked buzz for a while,
due to being next to a cord for lighting
(a bit more difficult to troubleshoot than it sounds)...
later that same mic started randomly picking up a spanish radio station.
then once these were solved,
the complex still had it's usual car, television and resident noises.
another interesting note-
i found out that my other audio post person isnt even an audio student,
nor has he EVER taken an audio class.
he does have some experience- but this still seems somewhat strange to me.
also- this audio kid, and the editor were trying to decide
what needed ADR'ed in the studio today.
these concerns were brought up to the right people and have been taken care of.

the day ended with a date night.
laura and i went and saw 300 in the imax.
not nearly as big as the Ultrascreen- its still a nice experience.
