The Feijoa tree is flowering

Feijoas are commonly grown in NZ home gardens and produce delicious fruit from autumn to early winter. They are part of the Myrtle family related to guava. They are known in some countries as pineapple guava or guavasteen. Our tree is only a couple of years old and so far has produced only a few fruit but this year it is loaded with flowers.
