159 Years

These sequoias in Landstuhl are only 159 years old; babies comparied to what I blipped yesterday.

I was up there looking for more chestnut trees. The trees were there, but not many chestnuts. Many people with bags, I may have been too late.

One lady asked and I explained the difference between chestnuts and conkers. She had a (plastic!) bag herself and showed me (between other mushrooms) a huge Steinpilz (penny bun) in her bag - I should have blipped it. Never seen anything like it. But after she asked me about the chestnuts I was hoping for her that she knew her mushrooms better. It kind of worried me.
