Nuthatch

After downpours early on, the day improved drastically, encouraging me to forget about housework.

I more or less repeated yesterday's trip visiting both the marshes and Stover.
Not much to see at Hackney so most of the time was spent strolling around the lake at Stover.
I'd forgotten that it's half term so the park was really busy :-/

All the birds are starting to 'beg' for food, coming daringly close if they think you have seed for them.
I took photos of the regulars including robins, chaffinches, various tits but this nuthatch won the day as he posed for me in front of some lovely bokeh
