Orchard Spider

As winter approaches there are fewer and fewer spiders, flies, bumblebees, and butterflies around! I was happy to spot this beautiful little Venusta Orchard spider, aka: Orchard orb weaver, sitting quietly in the center of her raggedy web. This tiny spider is one of my very favorites! Ok, I'll admit that I have several many 'favorite' spiders! ;)
