Sunshine and showers

After a torrential morning the sun finally peeked out. We thought we would have a look in a forestry area nearby that we have never ventured into. It’s not open to public access but the rides looked less muddy than nearby alternatives.
It’s a very large forest with some big clear fell areas planted in places with new deciduous saplings. The overall effect feels very wildlife friendly and it will be interesting to find out if we can get permission to visit in the summer and see what goes on. We did disturb three roe deer who were having a quiet browse!
