Birkrigg Common

Out in the rain with the waterproof camera that really let me down today. Sorry I know it's operator error really and this is the best, some were atrocious. The stone circle on Birkrigg Common with Ulverston Sands and Morecambe Bay in the distance through the mist .
We drove back towards Kendal to the Rusland Pool Inn for lunch indoors because their tables inside are very well spaced with barriers and we had a few 70 yr olds with us today. We did not want to risk lunch in Ulverston for fear that folks from Barrow (Tier 2)  are traveling to Ulverston (Tier 1) to go to the pubs
