..Mhor of Scourie..

An absolutely beautiful day today. Bacon, egg, mushrooms and fried bread while listening to the Archers omnibus. Bottle beer, and start next brew going. Pick brussels, prepare veges, and stick the meat in the slow oven, and then..

A walk down through the croft to the beach, round the beach past the campsite to the pier. Then on past the lodge to Scouriebeg farm, and up the hill, past the water works to Dukes mount (hill above village here). This is a view of the village from there, and while not the best lighting conditions, not bad. It's not very clear, but there is a dip in the hill directly below Stoer Point (the headland on the horizon), our house is just past the dip to the right of this, almost straight up from the end of the bay..

The road North out of the village can been seen on the other side of Loch a Bhadiadh Daraich in the lower left. Not a ripple on there today, and you can see chimney smoke rising almost straight up..

To top it all, just had the fiercest red sunset..

So spoilt for blips today..
