Archival Photographs #1

Following the passing of an old family friend a few years ago, we were left a weighty suit case of his and his wife's, containing a lot of their family history.
We have only now had the opportunity to open it and go through its contents. It is evident from a large hand-written family tree, their roots had been traced back to one Thomas Quicke born 7 May 1772 in Tiverton, a town in the English county of Devon.
The suitcase includes many photographs some of which are pictured above.The family has/had branches through England, Scotland, North America, and latterly in the early 1900's South Africa and Rhodesia (Zimbabwe).
