Morning Fox

We have spent the entire day trying to record five hymns for the service on Sunday. No, actually, I was trying to make a fair recording of the first one, many, many times but the technology was not co-operating to the standard of our accompanist, who had pre-recorded the music. We have received advice from Miss Flum and from Master Flum so tomorrow we try again, hopefully we will not need all day.

I was hanging around while Mr Flum fiddled with settings when I saw this fox at the end of the garden, shortly after 10am so managed a few photos through the glass.

There was little for it to eat up there, not even a rat. Our experimental covering the pole of the feeders with anti-climb paint seems to have succeeded - the following night one managed to enter the squirrel-proof cage, another failed to climb; since then the camera has not recorded any of the verminous creatures and the feeders remained well-filled for the birds.
