Clearing out cupboards and found these two cafetieres ... without the glass beakers. Broken.
We then tried a ceramic one.
Chipped.

So now have invested in a beautiful steel one - fingers crossed it lasts.

Offered these on Gumtree for free and had lots of enquiries, great, not going to landfill.
