Orphir Foothills

A trot out into the hills today – the first after the incident with my uncle.  This is looking west over Scapa Flow to the Hoy Hills.

A great day to be out – I met the manager  of the shooting butts out in his land rover.  After a good blether he said he had to depart to have his wife’s pipe and slippers ready for when she came home from work.

There was a fine anabatic wind to meet me on the way down.

I am now away to prepare the table for tea.
