Built to last.

In 1989, we made our home habitable. We did all the work ourselves,as there wasn't an endless supply of money.
  A mains stopcock inside the house was the only plumbing, so I got some books from the library and fitted the domestic water system and central heating. It took me about five times longer than a proper plumber, because I tinned all the end feed joints. ( Couldn't afford Yorkshire fittings ! )
 No leaks, from that day to this, but today I had to replace the room thermostat. Originally, I used Honeywell on the whole system, so I have used that now. Same wiring and even the wall screw holes lined up !
   Quality that lasted 21 years ! What chance has this one got ?
