Old gate

A beautiful day today so I took the camera for a wander round the ponds and was a bit snap happy, but did come back with quite a number I would happily have blipped. That gave me the headache of deciding which one - details of swan's feathers, reflections, seedheads or the old gate. The gate doesn't get much sun so, seeing as it had some when I got there, it won.

Back home I cooked myself a roast chicken dinner - and ate the whole chicken (it was very small) and watched an amazingly red sunset
