Attended the funeral of an important friend - one of the two or three great influences of my life ..... not a good day. Feeling lost.

These are the grounds of St John's Church, Parramatta, the oldest continuous place of Christian worship in Australia. While the bulk of the present structure is only about 150 years old, some of it is much older. That is hardly of note for a country like Britain, but in an Australian context it is pretty impressive.
