What’s behind the yellow window?

The story over the last couple of months:

Blood test (iffy)
CT scan (nodule)
Covid test (clear)
Sigmoidoscopy (clear “The patient was told he does NOT have cancer” [their caps])
MRI (not good)
PET CT scan (all clear apart from the issue seen above)

The NHS venues visited during this period:

Queen Elizabeth Woolwich
Lewisham hospital
GP (flu jab)
Eltham community hospital (physiotherapy)
St Thomas’ hospital

And today, at Guys, behind the yellow window… I had 3 tattoos on the NHS!

The plan is to give me chemo-radiation treatment in November/December. The tattoos are dots to help ensure the radiotherapy is pointed in the right direction. 28 consecutive weekdays of treatment - then I get 6 to 8 weeks off while they decide what to do next.

Being diagnosed with cancer (again) does help take your mind off the pandemic.

Otherwise, all good.
