Those were the days

A long disused petrol station at St Mawes in Cornwall. Those were the days when AA patrols wore caps and saluted members and petrol was sold by the gallon. I can actually remember when my mum would order 4 gallons and 4 shots - of the additive Redex - at 1 penny a shot. The earliest price for petrol I can remember is 4 shillings 10pence hapenny a gallon!
