Buri

We spent the late afternoon at one of the farms in Buri.  Was awesome being out and about again with my camera.  Weather is super at the moment and the afternoon light was amazing. Will be returning soon


Corona Virus Update
Bahrain recorded 309 new cases, 3 fatalities and 406 recoveries today.

BAHRAIN registered a steady decline in Covid-19 cases during the last five weeks.  There has been a 45 per cent drop in the number of daily active cases 

Infection from close contacts declined by almost 50pc, while those who developed symptoms and tested positive reduced by 39pc in this span.
Those tested positive during random screening dropped by 28pc and individuals testing positive after quarantine went down by 76pc.
Weekly average of cases also dropped drastically – from 719.1 to 384.
A total of 19,170 cases were registered in Bahrain from September 10 until October 14. Of these 18,970 (98.9pc) were recorded locally while the remaining 200 (1.1pc) were travel related. Of these, 14,791 were Bahrainis (77pc) and 4,379 expatriates (23pc).
Meanwhile, Covid-19 deaths have been on the rise this month, with 54 fatalities recorded until yesterday and the total touching 305.
However, the death rate is only 0.38 per cent of the total number of cases in the country which stands at 78,225, including 3,239 active cases and 74,683 recoveries.
June has so far recorded the highest number of fatalities (68) while it was 60 in July, 43 in August, 61 in September, 11 in May and four each in April and March.
Of the deceased, more than 70pc are men, accounting for 215. Of these 123 are Bahrainis and 92 expats. Of the 88 women, only four are expats while the rest are citizens.
A total of 62pc of the deceased (188) were aged above 60 years.
The largest number of fatalities (113) occurred in the 60-74 age group, followed by 99 in the 40-59 category.
A total of 75 Covid-19 victims were aged 75 and above, 15 were aged between 25 and 39 and one below 25.
Bahrain recorded the first Covid-19 case on February 21 – a 28-year-old Bahraini school bus driver, while the first fatality was registered on March 16, a male citizen aged 65, who returned from Iran.
