Life in Newburgh on Ythan

Halloween 2020

Halloween 2020 is now upon us and very early this morning  old Father Time was stalking the sand dunes. It is now pouring with rain so he should get a good soaking.

Extras. On a brighter note, a local 18th century gravestone with a smiling, cherubic version of Father Time, complete with scythe and hour glass. The message is clear!
On a happier note, we are enjoying a Halloween full moon! The last one was nineteen years ago and the next one will not happen until 2039. After that, there will only be three more Halloween full moons before the year 2100. Those October 31st full moons will occur in 2058, 2077 and 2096.
