Robbed, and not for the last time

There are several "British" shops dotted around the Lower Mainland, all of them have been in business for many years which leads me to think that they all make a profit of some sort.
Most ex-pats suffer from the same symptom from time to time, lack of common sense. And when my son visited one of the Brit shops yesterday, he was afflicted with the same symptoms. The only thing he bought that's not pictured here is a squirty bottle of salad cream,(it's too expensive to be exposed to the light of day). Cdn$12, (about 7GBP). WTF?
The strangest thing is, we all know we're being robbed, but we let it happen anyway.

Ah well...
