Live from the bedroom window.....

Wind a constant 45 mph since get go and now up at about 60.  I’m just glad I’m not one of other Shipton’s hens today.  Scapa Flow is building up into a saline froth.  A lot of the salt is now on the windows.  The view from the bedroom window explains why we haven’t been out all day.  I’ve listened to plenty of LPs.

Since reporting 24hrs ago there’s still been no reports of the whereabouts of Lulu MacDuff.  Stringers in Fearn, Nairn and Forres are investigating.

After tea (fish pie and raspberry cake) we couldn’t understand how Colin, the tortoise, got up on the mantelpiece.

I’m now away for a rendition of Ulysses by Fernando Corona – I know I’ll be the better for it.

Back soon……
