Best Efforts

Hertford District Scouts & Guides had an outdoor competition today. Each participant had a work station, suitably spaced, where they carved pumpkins and assembled pizzas, which were cooked on an altar fire. They then played ‘pass the skeleton hand’, a relay game using long hooks made from tent pegs fixed to bamboo canes. A lot of fun was had despite the fact that it rained during some of the sessions. The scouts who made pizzas in the rain were just remarkably quicker!
